Dorothy is a chartered public accountant(CPA) and a chartered internal auditor(CIA).
She is a career banker and has worked for Housing Finance Bank Limited for over 20years.
She is the Chief Internal Auditor at the Bank.
She has vast experience in governance and strategic audit, assurance and risk management.
She is a council member of the Institute of Corporate Governance, served as a Treasurer and freelance trainer for the Institute of Internal Auditors where she is also a member.
She is a re-known speaker and has had several speaking engagements on matters of internal audit with the most recent one being during the International Internal Audit Awareness Month 2020 where she presented a paper on “The limitations of the Covid-19 Pandemic 9 lockdown not withstanding; under my leadership, HFB organized the first Webinar to drive awareness about internal Audit on 21st May 2020. Altogether through the social media we mobilized viewership of over 1000 participants.”.
